That's it!!!!! I'm totally convinced! If you drink the water around here, you get beautiful kids! Santa Cruz county has the most beautiful children I have ever seen! This little guy just turned 2 today and I was so tickled that his family chose to come and visit me on his birthday. So many great shots of this lil man. He was probably the most cooperative 2 year old I've ever met. I couldn't resist posting more than usual. Enjoy!

{The Perfect Beach Session}

Heavy sigh...I wish I had a problog right now. These smaller images just do not do this session justice. I am in the process of getting one though plus a professional photography website. Be on the look out come 2010!

I have read on other photographer's blogs that one of the best things a photographer can hear from a client is "Do what you know how to do" and they give you free reign. I experienced this last night with these kiddos. Mom and Dad kindly gave me and their kids space. It allowed me and these absolutely beautiful kiddos to be silly and play and capture some tender and silly moments. A, thank you for trusting me and allowing me to capture these for you. {Classic Sibling Shoot}

These two great kids, are repeat customers from last year. I loved that mom chose something super retro for them to wear again. It gives the classic 40s or 50's feel that I think is ultra cool. As parents, we feel like we have to have the perfect shots to make the best Christmas card, but I prefer the candid ones such as these that allow little personalities to shine.

{Sibling Sweetness}

So fun to capture some sibling love yesterday. This sibling duo were quite cute to photograph. It's hard to be 3 and have little sister steal the show so he was very cooperative when it came for his solo portraits. Such a kick to see how he tried to hold up three fingers using 2 hands...I loved that! Little Miss O was oh so yummy in her holiday attire. You can hop on over to Hopscotch in Aptos to get some cool kids fashions like hers for the holidays and of course for your holiday photo sessions! My fav or our time has to be the last image of her with the one finger in her mouth. Teething pose I suppose but there is something timeless about it that I think people will look back over the years and agree.

{What a Doll Peeky Peek}

Just a peeky peek of this little 6 month old from today. The series of shots captures her infatuation with dolls. Believe it or not, she was crying just moments before this first picture. Mom thought quick and gave her the doll. Getting to hold and munch on my posing doll made her so happy! More soon of this living doll and her big brother coming up. I've been super busy around here lately...a sibling session and a one year birthday celebration to post in the next few days. Stay tuned!
