{New Client Referrals}

A common question asked among many of my clients and potential clients you advertise? Other than having my cards at a small children's clothing boutique in town, no. I have found that my best advertisement is through word of mouth. I let my clients do that for me. 100% of my business comes from referrals these days. At the beginning of the year, I put a promise out there to all my clients, that with every booked referral appointment, they would receive a gift certificate of $25 from me. Just a small way to say thank you to them. Some photographers spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars each year promoting themselves with fancy ads in papers and phone books etc. I would rather pay it forward to my clients. That's just me. The fact is, I'm not that big of a gig. I enjoy being a small fish in a big pond. I'm flattered that I get recognized for my work these day in this small community but truthfully, I enjoy knowing my clients and their friends and family. Each one has a unique story I'm finding people connected to each other on various levels. It's one of the many things I love about my work.
Here are some of my certificates that I scored from photographers cafe and I absolutely love! Can't wait to send some off to some clients this week. Also, thank you Tara for my lucky score. You rock!

It's been a while since I posted something about Miss Fergie. Don't let the sweet face fool you....she is every bit a terrier or shall we say "terror." For those J.R. fans out know what I mean and are probably laughing out loud right now! What I mean to tell you is that aside from the 4 rugs she has chewed, a hole dug in my wood floor and a D.S. charger, we are quite smitten with her. She does have a sweet side to her and her favorite thing to do is cuddle in the evening with all of us, especially her boys. She is 3 months now and soon to go to puppy obedience school. I will also have to say, we have read how bright these little spirits are and I am telling you...I am completely amazed at what she has already learned. She can sit and dance for me with a sign I have been working on with her. She comes to us on command and walks fairly well on a leash. And I swear she knows each of us, including our cat, by name! She is also quite the poser and is comfortable in front of the camera. I will try and share more photos of her but I leave you with one that I took yesterday which I call...

{Baby Sister For Mr.B}

Mr. B, with his captivating brown eyes and stunningly gorgeous parents, are expecting a sweet baby girl in April. This little family's pictures moved me beyond words. I think I really captured the essence of their bond with each other. I don't think I need to say any more but let these pictures speak for themselves.
Mr. B, I am wishing you and your mommy and daddy
a calm and blessed delivery.
Thank you all for trusting me with these special moments.

{Lightning McQueen & Company}

I can't think of a better way to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day than to post these two lil guys! So much to love about them from their red hair to their cute freckles. The littlest tike is a Lightning McQueen Fan and boy does he live up to his favorite character's name! He was like a speedy car on the beach towards the end of our session. Had mommy workin up a sweat just to catch up with him. Both boys were so much fun to photograph and so quick to smile. I love when that happens!!! I totally dig how this session turned out. Love this time of year when everything is green and renewed which adds such rich colors to the backdrop. The beach was lovely and the light sweet sweet. Enjoy your sneak peek C Family
Happy St. Patrick's Day to ya!

{Sweet P. Family}

I'm always tickled when I get a returning client to do a family session. This sweet family was patient enough to wait through my illness. I think it was meant to be because this had to be some of the nicest weather we have had around here in weeks. It was a perfect afternoon to take some sweet fun family pics down by the beach. I loved that they brought their beloved pet "Miss Josie" down with them to be included in some memories. She was the sweetest pooch and so well behaved through our entire session.
Thank you sweet P. Family for sharing your family with me.
Enjoy your sneak peek!
Luv, T

I'm having a little trouble with my new client inquiry page on my main website. If you are a new client looking to book a session, the best way to contact me is through email for the next week.
I'm also suffering from a bad case of laryngitis and I'm on strict orders not to talk until this virus goes away. Life has been put on hold in our household but I am slowly getting better. Thanks to all my clients that I have had to move around so I can rest and be well for their sessions.
Here is one little sweet face that has been cuddling with me during my illness. She is such a snuggle muffin. Isn't she sweet?
