{Family Sunset Pics}

It's always a pleasure photographing beautiful families. Such a treat to get to spend some time down at the beach at sunset too. This is one of my favorite spots to shoot this time of the year. The sunsets are spectacular and it was crystal clear due to a recent rain storm. Loved the color tones used in this family's wardrobe choice. The backdrops matched them perfectly. Enjoy your sneak peek, H Family!

{Two Adorable Twins}

Meet Mr. M. & Miss S. Two adorable 9 month twins. You may remember them from their baptism a few months back. They have grown so much and I really got a kick at how much personality came out during our time. Miss S. was so chatty and and expressive. Mr. M. always grinning and loving my camera. They were so much fun and with so many great moments, I'm posting more than my norm. Here is a snippet of our time together.

This one kind of sums up thier personalities...I love it!!!!!
Check out Miss S.'s grin. I love how she has her hand on his arm.

Love the holiday outfits mom picked out....so vintage and stylish!

This one is my absolute favorite of the session. Love the color and the lip thing she is doing was just cracks me up! Mom says she has been doing that lately. I would totally blow this one up on a canvas if I were mommy and daddy. Such a character ...so sweet!

I'm still grinning...are you?
Happy Wednesday!

{6 Month Cutie & Sibling}

I'm such a sucker for blue eyed boys. This lil man's amazing blue eyes have captured my attention ever since he was a newborn. They are such a striking feature. I just want to eat him up, he's so darn cute! His older brother is equally as handsome and we had a little fun today playing with cars and counting starfish.
My favorite...love his smile here.

Love the feel of this one too.

Thank you for coming by and spending some time with me today. C, your little guys added a little more sunshine to my day! Luv, T

{Saving The Day}

My first real potential disaster almost happened today at this session. The youngest of this gorgeous family, decided he didn't want to have anything to do with the photo session today. He wasn't buying any of my antics and I even brought out the burping rat! Almost ran out of my bag of tricks, his parents were bribing ice cream, I was truly trying to burp myself just to lighten the mood....he was having NONE of it! That is, until my youngest stepped in. Thank goodness he was home for Veterans Day and thank goodness he used his best wits and zipped into my studio with magical suckers. Yeah...I know, not probably what most parents would want their kids to get but we were desperate! I was desperate! But it really did the trick. He was extremely cooperative after that. As you can see, it would of been a shame to miss on these photos. Normally, I don't allow my kiddos into my studio during sessions but I'm sure glad I did today and you can bet that I rewarded my lil guy with a super cool baseball hat that he has been wanting for a long time. Thanks, Tobin, for all your help Sweetie. I think the G family would agree with me that you saved the day!

LOVE THIS ONE!!!!

Such a handsome dude! Thanks for the burping tips. I'm still working on it buddy!
When I told my boys about it today, they cracked up!

This smart young lady was so poised and so perfect and extremely photogenic.

Love how lil bro is leaning into his big bro....so sweet!
Thanks for visiting with me G Family. I'm so glad it all worked out today. Enjoy! T

{Sunlight From Heaven}

Only sunlight like this can be made by our heavenly Father. I would also like to think that a little bit of our dear friend, Nathan, was smiling on his sweet family last night at Lighthouse Park in S.C. I know how his family must miss him and especially as we approach their first holiday season without him. But look into these sweet faces. Especially the first 2 little ones and you will see what beautiful reminders we have of him.

I love how each one of these express relationships between my friend and her kiddos. There is something unspoken and sweet about them.

C. Thanks for asking me to take your photos again this year. I'm so humbled by your spirit. XOXO, Tonya
